Stony Stratford put-in (River Great Ouse)

This slipway launches onto the River Great Ouse at Stony Stratford, where the river has crossed the historic Watling Street ford since Roman times and now runs under a rebuilt road bridge. The Environment Agency manages this stretch of the Great Ouse and requires paddlers to hold a waterways licence.
