Old Portsmouth put-in
This slipway is on Bathing Lane in Old Portsmouth, at the Point where the harbour narrows before meeting the Solent. The channel here is part of Portsmouth Harbour, inside the King's Harbour Master's Dockyard Port, which sets a 10-knot speed limit and a Small Boat Channel for craft under 20 metres. Portsmouth Sailing Club keeps a pontoon and slipway nearby, just inside the historic Town Camber.
