West Bay slipway, Westgate-on-Sea
West Bay is a sandy family beach at Westgate-on-Sea in Thanet, separated from St Mildred's Bay to the east by chalk cliffs. Thanet council permits launching at West Bay for fishing boats and sail craft, with hand-launching only and a size limit during the summer season.
