Whixall Marina
This put-in is on the Prees Branch of the Llangollen Canal at Whixall Marina, a basin built on former clay pits at the end of the branch's navigable length near Whixall village. The Canal & River Trust requires a waterways licence to paddle here, available as a day permit or through Paddle UK or Canoe Wales membership.
