Aldeburgh Yacht Club slipway, Slaughden
The southernmost of several mapped slipway fragments at Slaughden, on the tidal River Alde just behind the shingle spit that separates the river from the sea. Slaughden was formerly a working quay before erosion and the growth of the shingle bank left it as the site of the yacht and sailing clubs it hosts today.
