Loch Staosnaig slipway (Scalasaig)
A slipway on Loch Staosnaig, a tidal bay rather than a true sea loch on Colonsay's east coast, less than a mile south of Scalasaig. Also known locally as Queen's Bay, it is protected by the small island of Eilean Staosnaig and looks out towards Jura, and is reached from Scalasaig by the track past the Colonsay Hotel and parish church.
