Bardsey Island slipway (Y Cafn)
This private concrete slipway lies on Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island), about 3km off the tip of the Llŷn Peninsula, rather than on the mainland at Aberdaron as its original harvested name suggested. The island is a National Nature Reserve managed by the Bardsey Island Trust, and its traditional boat landing place, Y Cafn, sits near the old boathouse. Scheduled passenger crossings to the island run instead from Porth Meudwy and Pwllheli.
