Mochras Causeway slipway, Llanbedr
This slipway lies partway along the Mochras Causeway over the Afon Artro estuary, between the mainland near Llandanwg and Shell Island (Mochras). The river was diverted to this mouth in 1819 to serve the slate wharf at Pensarn, and the crossing floods at high tide.
