River Roy Gorge, Head Banger inspection point
This is an inspection and portage point on the River Roy gorge, a whitewater river in Glen Roy above the village of Roy Bridge. The OSM node marks where paddlers get out on river left to look at or carry around Head Banger, a grade 5 rapid on a left-hand bend. It sits inside a steep-sided gorge reached by a long walk-in from Glenroy Road, well below road level.
