Spean (Upper)
This is the put-in for the upper River Spean near the hamlet of Roughburn, close to Laggan Dam below Loch Laggan, where the river begins its westward run to Spean Bridge and the Great Glen. This upper section runs from the dam down to Inverlair Falls and is paddled when the dam is releasing water.
