Clyde at Stonebyres

This is a whitewater put-in on the River Clyde at Hazelbank, just downstream of Stonebyres Falls, the lowest of the Falls of Clyde near Lanark. Paddlers portage the falls above and put in here to run grade 2 water down towards Crossford, with a grade 3 rapid at Hazelbank itself. The Falls of Clyde gorge upstream, around Lanark and New Lanark, is not navigable.
