Llanfairfechan Beach slipway
A slipway with steps drops onto Llanfairfechan's pebble and sand beach, which fronts Lavan Sands (Traeth Lafan), the large intertidal sandbank between Llanfairfechan and Bangor at the mouth of the Menai Strait. The area lies within the Menai Strait and Conwy Bay Special Area of Conservation, and the tide recedes a long way from the sea wall.
