Llangollen Canal, Froncysyllte
This slipway sits on the Llangollen Canal at Froncysyllte in Wrexham county borough, close to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Trevor Basin. The Canal and River Trust requires a waterways licence for canoes, kayaks and paddleboards on its network, and a Paddle UK membership can cover it. The village also stands on the banks of the River Dee, but this launch point opens directly onto the canal.
