St Margaret's Bay slipway
St Margaret's Bay is a shingle beach below the village of St Margaret's at Cliffe, on the Kent coast where the English Channel meets the North Sea at nearby Leathercote Point. A concrete slipway leads onto the beach. The bay has long served as a departure point for Channel swimmers and for undersea telegraph cables.
