Castlegate Quarter put-in (Sheffield)
This slipway sits at Victoria Quays, the restored canal basin that forms the terminus of the Sheffield Canal on the edge of Sheffield city centre. The basin was built in 1816-1819 and now holds leisure moorings and a working boatyard alongside cafes and offices. The Sheffield Canal is managed by the Canal and River Trust and forms the upper reach of the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation.
