Seacliff Beach
Launch — A gently sloping sand beach; depending on the tide there are between 10 and 200 metres of beach before the water's edge.
Parking — A grass car park listed at 120 spaces, reached through a coin-operated barrier on the private road. The charge applies to vehicles and is listed as running all year. The car park is about 300 m from the bathing-water point mapped in OpenStreetMap.
Access — East Lothian Council's tourism site describes the beach as private. Vehicles reach it by a narrow private road off the A198 at Auldhame, entered at a tight bend beside a farm.
Regulations — The Scottish Outdoor Access Code states that access rights extend to beaches and the foreshore.
A sandy, tidal bay about 700 m long at Seacliff on the East Lothian coast, a designated bathing water and the site of Seacliff's small harbour.
SEPA's bathing water profile records the Firth of Forth as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a Ramsar site and a Special Protection Area, all for its internationally important bird populations.
