Crosswood Reservoir slipway
A slipway on Crosswood Reservoir, a small, shallow Scottish Water reservoir on the Crosswood Burn in the Pentland Hills above West Calder, built in 1868 to compensate mill owners downstream on the River Almond for water taken for Edinburgh's supply. It sits at around 1012 feet above sea level with an open, upland setting.
