RiverWye Pursuits Slipway
Herefordshire, EnglandKerne Bridge sits at the northern end of the Wye Gorge, where the River Wye leaves open Herefordshire farmland and starts cutting into the sandstone and limestone that shape the gorge further downstream toward Symonds Yat. Wye Pursuits, a canoe and kayak hire centre, is based at the launch here alongside other local operators.
RiverWhitchurch put-in
Herefordshire, EnglandThis put-in sits on the River Wye at Symonds Yat West, on the west bank within Whitchurch civil parish, opposite Symonds Yat East, where the river loops around Symonds Yat Rock, a wooded limestone outcrop rising about 152 metres above the gorge. The Symonds Yat Rapids, a grade 2 man-made feature used for whitewater training and playboating, lie about a kilometre downstream. Canoe and kayak hire operators based at Symonds Yat West run trips from this stretch of the gorge.
RiverRoss-on-Wye put-in

The reach carries a public right of navigation along the whole non-tidal Wye, from Hay-on-Wye down to Chepstow, and the river's historic locks and weirs were removed long ago, leaving open water for miles in either direction.
RiverRoss Rowing Club

RiverRoss Riverside Canoe Launch
Herefordshire, EnglandAt Ross-on-Wye the River Wye runs broad and slow-moving along the town's riverside frontage, inside the Wye Valley National Landscape, with the town's gardens and bandstand lining the bank.

Herefordshire, EnglandThis launch ramp sits on the River Wye's west bank at Symonds Yat West, within Whitchurch parish, Herefordshire, and is operated as part of the River Wye Camping and Caravan Park.
