Hertfordshire, EnglandThis slipway reaches the River Lea (Lee Navigation) at Stanstead Abbots, on a lock-managed, towpath-lined reach of the navigation. It sits downstream of Stanstead Lock and upstream of Feildes Weir, where the River Stort joins the Lea near Rye House.

Hertfordshire, EnglandThis access point sits on the Lee Navigation, the canalised stretch of the River Lea running through the Lee Valley at Stanstead Abbots and St Margarets, Hertfordshire. Stanstead Lock lies about 2.3 km upstream to the north, and Feildes Weir, where the Lea meets the River Stort, lies under a kilometre downstream to the south. Rye House Gatehouse, a historic building within Lee Valley Regional Park, stands a short walk from the launch.
