SeaBideford slipway, East-the-Water
Devon, EnglandThis slipway is on the east bank of the tidal River Torridge at Bideford, opposite the town's historic quay. Bideford grew up as a working port on this stretch of the Torridge, and the estuary remains a working harbour today, carrying commercial shipping down to the sea at Appledore.
SeaBideford slipway, East-the-Water (Torrington Street)
Devon, EnglandThis slipway is on Torrington Street on the east bank of the tidal River Torridge at Bideford, close to the town's Long Bridge, a 24-arch crossing first built in 1286 and rebuilt in stone in 1474.
SeaWatermouth Cove Holiday Park slipway
Devon, EnglandThis second slipway sits inside Watermouth Cove at Watermouth Cove Holiday Park, a caravan and camping park about 300 metres from Watermouth Harbour's own public slip in the same cove. The park runs an on-site paddleboard and kayak hire and coaching service into the sheltered water.

Devon, EnglandWatermouth is a small tidal inlet on the Bristol Channel coast between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe, in Berrynarbor parish. Watermouth Harbour's own slipway allows launching at any state of tide, with day, weekly and annual fee options that include parking in the harbour's car park.

Devon, EnglandThis slipway drops onto the tidal River Tavy at the foot of Silver Street in Bere Ferrers, on the Devon bank between the village and its former railway station. Devon, EnglandThis slipway is at Rolle's Quay on the tidal River Taw at Barnstaple, below the town's Long Bridge. The Taw shares the Bristol Channel's large tidal range, with the water level near the estuary mouth changing by six to eight metres a day.

Devon, EnglandThis slipway sits on Pilton Quay in Barnstaple, on the tidal lower reach of the River Yeo just above its confluence with the River Taw. OpenStreetMap surveyors record it as disused.
RiverBampton Bridge slipway
Devon, EnglandThis slipway is on the River Batherm at Bampton Bridge, in the small Mid Devon town of Bampton on the southern edge of Exmoor. The Batherm is a modest river that joins the River Exe about a mile downstream of the town. As with most English rivers, there is no general public right of navigation on this non-tidal stretch.

Devon, EnglandThis slipway launches onto Upper Tamar Lake at the Upper Tamar Water Sports Centre, a reservoir on the Cornwall-Devon border managed by South West Lakes Trust, roughly 3 miles from Kilkhampton. The lake is used for sailing, windsurfing and kayaking, and supplies drinking water to Bude and nearby villages.

Devon, EnglandA slipway onto the Hamoaze, the tidal lower reach of the River Tamar between Plymouth Sound and the Tamar road bridge, at Barne Barton on Plymouth's western shore. The estuary here runs past HMNB Devonport, the largest naval base in Western Europe, and forms part of the Plymouth Sound & Estuaries Marine Protected Area.

Devon, EnglandPhoenix Wharf, at the end of Madeira Road in Plymouth's Barbican, sits on the open shore of Plymouth Sound, a natural harbour roughly three nautical miles across between Cornwall's Penlee Point and Devon's Wembury Point, just outside Sutton Harbour's lock gates. The Sound is fed by the Tamar to the north-west and the Plym's Cattewater to the north-east, and this stretch of shore faces across the water towards Mount Batten and Drake's Island. SUP schools including South West SUP, based nearby at Royal William Yard, run guided sessions on the Sound.

Devon, EnglandMount Batten put-in sits on the Cattewater, the tidal channel where the River Plym meets Plymouth Sound, on the shoreline of the Mount Batten peninsula, across the water from Plymouth's Barbican. The nearby Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre runs paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing sessions on the same stretch of water.
